I spend my days dreaming up and concocting new ideas. I also spend my days combing the beaches for driftwood, seashells and sea glass. The driftwood will make it into art, but the seashells and sea glass will be mine forever.
One gorgeous day in Dec 2011, we were scouring the beach for driftwood for my Driftwood Christmas Trees, and my little guy (he's my lucky charm when it comes to finding sea glass)
came running towards me to show me this enormous piece of green that he found.
Well, just as he sat down by me...I looked down and saw amethyst. A near perfect purple heart. Unreal.
Near the shoreline at our beach, it's really rocky, soft river rock rocky...so there's always alot to take in as your searching for treasures. So my little purple heart was...is! quite the find.
The purple heart is the photo on my current banner now, here on the site. It's shown with the other goodies that we found that day too.
